What is ECPSS?The Erindale Chemical and Physical Sciences Society (ECPSS) is a student-led academic society that provides services to all students whose field of study is covered by the department of Chemical and Physical Sciences at UTM. We strive to create a community where CPS students can cultivate a deeper connection with one another and the CPS department through society events and networking/education opportunities which also assist them in their academic performance, achievements, and goals. Moreover, our goal is to increase awareness of the chemical and physical sciences across campus, and to encourage students within this department to foster a connection with their community.
Some annual events hosted by ECPSS includes Meet the Grads and Meet the Profs, where students are given the opportunity to meet and network with graduates students and professors while also socializing with fellow undergrads in their respective fields. These events are meant to expose students to research and professional opportunities on campus and improve faculty-student interaction in a more informal setting. |
